As-live livestream from St James The Less, Teignmouth, anyone?

I’m playing a very special birthday party for a new friend, Amerie in a couple of weeks. Rather excitingly, it’ll be inside St James The Less church just down the road from me. He’s always welcome in a world that just wants ‘more’ all the time 😉

The tower of the church is in fact the oldest building in Teignmouth, originally a watch tower. For some unknown reason the original contractors didn’t see fit to install wi-fi, and gave no thought to livestreaming whatsoever, concentrating more on thick walls and godly matters. https://www.nationalchurchestrust.org/church/teignmouth-st-james-less

I’m playing this on a Thursday, and thought I would broadcast it, ‘as-live’ the day after, on Friday 28th August, at our usual time of 8pm Jurassic Island time. On facebook. I can sit back and watch along too, for once. I’ll add it here on Patreon after, for any who can’t make it but wish to catch up.

Upon request from the birthday girl herself, I’ll be playing a real upbeat-and-apocalyptic set. A foolhardy task in an octagonal, acoustically-challenging church normally, but the audience will all have my silent disco headphones, so the sound should be super good, and the atmosphere amazing in the St James. A pleasure and an honour to play there.

I might even give ‘Kev’s AI Bot: Ryan’ another airing too, afterwards. And even play one more live, perhaps. Who’d up for an (as-live)stream?
