Festung Königstein

Friday’s concert in Germany was at Festung Königstein, fabulous and grand castle/citadel perched on outcrops, the gateway to the Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz, south of Dresden. Jo Quail (who you all know, I’m sure) and I were invited to perform, to perform together, and to act as string section, by the lovely Songleikr. So kind of them to do so, and of course they are warm and lovely people, so playing along to their gorgeous music was a pleasure.
