I’m so pleased to have Scott Marshall in the garden this June, performing at Secret Garden 3 mini-fest. I’m a sucker for the multi-layers and harmonics of the hurdy gurdy, at which Scott is simply fantastic. Check out his Gurdymania trio of albums, GurdymaniaUK on Bandcamp. Scott’s set will be broadcast live, 8-9pm on the Friday of the festival.

Dead Space Chamber Music

Headlining on the Friday (& livestream) we have Dead Space Chamber Music: ‘Gothic ritual experimental doom’ if I’m not mistaken 🙂 Reinterpreting ancient forms and melodies, propelling them into the presnt. They’re picking up steam, too; playing with a whole host of artists. Including a UK tour with Jo Quail – and creating beautiful bespoke events in their hometown of Bristol.

DSCM will also start off proceedings on the Saturday of SG3, opening the day with a different, more mellow and enchanting acoustic vibe to fit the mood of the day 😉

After that, I’m delighted to have Sally Doherty (member of Sieben for the very first album!) and Frank Birtwistle, a.k.a Summerisle in the garden. Music this delicate, with Sally’s voice through a studio mic and Frank’s amazing guitar is going to sound simply stunning through my studio set up direct to silent disco headphones!

They’ll be playing the Saturday of the festival, 14th June, 3.30-4.30pm. Saturday isn’t broadcast, so you’ll have to come in person for this loveliness.

Searching For Lil

Also on the Saturday of SG3, we have the sensational Searching For Lil. “Always with an acoustic guitar and writing to get the words out, Searching for Lil is an independent artist. With years of writing and playing, her album is now in progress and her music is now being shared and performed. ” We’re so looking forward to hearing her in the garden 🙂
